Major push to get teens vaccinated before new term starts in two weeks

Almost half of all 16 and 17-year-olds in the borough have been jabbed, but officials are keen to get the rest of the kids vaccinated before schools and colleges start their Autumn term.

With many schools heading back the week of September 6, that gives staff less than two weeks to get thousands of young people jabbed.
