Glasgow with other processions also planned this summer as coronavirus restrictions lift. Glasgow City Council have confirmed they have received an application from The Pride of Govan Flute Band on July 1 while there are three other planned marches from other groups that day.
A further three processions have also been applied for July 3, a Saturday. The notifications will still need to go through the normal process – which includes engagement with the organiser and consultation, including with Police Scotland.But under current coronavirus rules the marches will be severely limited.The city is expected to move to tier two of coronavirus restrictions from Friday meaning processions with a maximum of 50 participants and a maximum duration of.
