A Hamilton man who fell victim to heartless thieves breaking into his car and stealing supplies for Covid-19 patients has thanked his community for their generous support.Mick McCann, 57, woke up on Monday to find his car trashed by the vandals who took off with bags of toiletries and other items intended for patients.Originally from Blantyre, Mick volunteers for Blantyre Official Coronavirus Support (BOCS), helping the community through the public health crisis in various ways including providing for key workers and looking after vulnerable residents.But now it’s the community that is giving back and already locals have rallied round to raise over £1600, allowing for more supplies to be delivered to patients in hospital.Mick has since
