Daniel Wroughton Craig (born 2 March 1968) is an English actor. After training at the National Youth Theatre and graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1991, Craig began his career on stage. Daniel Craig is reflecting on a royal zinger. The 53-year-old James Bond actor made an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Wednesday (February 17).

During his appearance, he reflected on the time Queen Elizabeth made a joke regarding his appearance – specifically, his face. Click inside to read more… During the appearance, Daniel talked about the “very funny” 95-year-old royal, who wanted “to crack a joke and crack a joke about me” during the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony skit. “We were having our photograph taken, and she just went, ‘Oh no, he’s the one that doesn’t smile,’” he amusingly recalled.

If you didn’t know, the Queen recently gifted Daniel Craig with the Order of St. Michael and St. George, which is a distinguishing honor usually reserved for spies and diplomats.

It’s also the same honor given to M retiring in Skyfall. Bond was fictionally given the title of CMG in Ian Flemming’s 1954 book You Only Live Twice.
