A Korean painter and illustrator named TaeTae (태태) has accused Lil Uzi Vert of plagiarizing their artwork for the cover of his hit single, “That Way.” TaeTae pointed out the similarities between their painting and Uzi’s cover art in an Instagram post, while explaining that the photo of their original work was first shared on their blog six years ago. “I am very upset that I have to write such an article.
I saw lil uzi vert’s latest album cover art and it was very similar to my painting,” TaeTae wrote in the caption. “My picture was posted on my blog six years ago, and it is possible to use it for profile pictures or non-commercial purposes, but it is not allowed to use anything else.
