A new art campaign is aiming to bring the people of Westcliff together during lockdown.Our Westcliff has been launched by resident Lottie Barker to reach those who are feeling lonely or isolated without social events.Lottie’s plan is for everyone in the area to create a small image of their house either by drawing, painting or stitching it.All the work will be brought together into one large house which will symbolise the community.Lottie said: “I was really interested in the fact that through lockdown I felt really connected to family and friends because I was able to Zoom and Skype lots of people but the people I felt less connected with are the locals in my community.“I feel like that side of the community has really sort of suffered so
