It's everything you might expect and hope for from a Carti song in 2020: jetsonmade's production is playful and euphoric, Carti uses his voice more as a percussive instrument than a vehicle for his lyrics, and after its three minutes are up you'll want to loop it for an hour or so.

Playboi Carti is back. The rapper has shared the video for a new song called “@ MEH,” his first solo track since the release of his most recent album Die Lit in 2018. Check out the music video, directed by Carti and Nick Walker, below. The new track was produced by jetsonmade, who came to prominence last year as one of DaBaby’s primary producers, alongside Neekobaby and deskhop.

Iggy Azalea‘s boyfriend, Playboi Carti, was arrested for being in possession of guns and drugs in Clayton County, Georgia, Us Weekly confirms.

Rapper Playboi Carti was arrested on Thursday on drug and gun-related charges.

The Clayton County’s Sheriff’s Office in Georgia released a statement relating to Playboi Carti‘s arrest on Friday, April 3. “Yesterday, Sheriff Victor Hill’s elite COBRA strike force pulled over a Lamborghini that had an expired tag,” it began. “During the stop COBRA members located 12 bags of marijuana, 3 guns, Xanax, codeine, and oxycodone. Jordan Carter later identified as Atlanta rapper “PlayBoi Carti” and Jaylon Tucker we’re both taken into custody and they are now facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail known as the Hill-ton”. He was put in jail and booked at 9:59 PM local time on Thursday, March 2, and was then released from jail at 4:07 AM the following day.

Playboi Carti was arrested last night (April 2) after being pulled over in Clayton County, Georgia, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. According to county records, Carti was booked on two traffic violations and one misdemeanor count of possessing an ounce or less of marijuana. He was released on bond on all three counts today, records show.
