He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Large police presence spotted at Edinburgh coastal spot amid ongoing incident
dailyrecord.co.ukEmergency services raced to an Edinburgh coastline this afternoon following an ongoing incident. Locals reported seeing a "huge" police presence on Lower Granton Road at around 3pm.
The coastguard and lifeboats were also in attendance. Residents claim they were seen searching the water. Images from the scene shared with Edinburgh Live show multiple police vehicles and an HM Coastguard van parked by Wardie Bay.
A search and rescue helicopter is also believed to have been dispatched. The nature of the incident is unknown at this stage.Another image from the scene shows officers on Wardie Bay, with members of the public wrapped in towels.
A local resident, who asked to remain anonymous, said: "Huge police and coastguard presence at Wardie Bay."A second added: "Police, coastguard, a lifeboat and several other boats appear to be searching the waters east of the Eastern Breakwater."Lower Granton Road is now partially blocked by the emergency service vehicles.
