Lanarkshire thrill-seekers wanted for epic zip slide challenge for Poppyscotland

A veterans charity is calling on Lanarkshire thrill-seekers to take part in a fundraiser across Glasgow’s skyline. Poppyscotland is delighted to announce the return of their Clyde Zip Slide fundraising event, taking place on Sunday, September 8.A unique and thrilling way to see Glasgow’s iconic cityscape, this is a 100ft high, 1000ft long challenge.

Participants will launch across this zip slide from a crane located next to the stunning Riverside Museum, which is the third time the charity has utilised this spectacular location.Participants are being asked to raise money for Poppyscotland, Scotland’s leading Armed Forces charities.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
