Lanarkshire drugs offender dodges jail despite a hat-trick of convictions

A drugs offender has walked free despite his third conviction for being involved in the supply of cannabis.Ryan Martin was fined £2900 and faces a 10-month curfew, but a sheriff decided not to jail him after hearing he has "turned his life around".Hamilton Sheriff Court heard that Martin, who had cannabis in his car, fled from police and clocked 90 miles an hour in built-up areas.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
