With Pep Guardiola's current Manchester City contract due to expire in June 2023, speculation regarding his future has started to build over the past few months.
On Monday that appeared to come to ahead, with Marca reporting that the Brazilian FA have approached Pere Guardiola - Pep's brother and representative - with a four-year deal worth €12m net.
The report claims that they would want Guardiola to take up the role after current national team coach Tite quits after the 2022 World Cup, and lead the Selecao to the 2026 World Cup.
However, there are conflicting reports. According to Guillem Balague Brazil's interest is real, but that Guardiola is "not considering it." City want to extend his deal by "one or two years" and are confident of doing so.
