msn.comKathy Hilton made a hilarious comment on the Met Gala live feed on Monday night ahead of her daughter Paris's debut at the event.
The socialite, 64, took to social media to assure the official event page that 'Paris was in the car on the way' after her entrance was blocked by climate change protestors - in a move later branded 'iconic' by fans.
An account called 'commentsbycelebs' then picked up the funny quote and reposted it with the caption: 'TY @kathyhilton'. As Paris, 42, was travelling to the star-studded bash at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York she found her route blocked by the protestors.
They stood in front of the vehicle she was travelling in meaning there was a slight delay to her red carpet appearance. The scenes were captured and posted to Twitter as protestors lay out a banner in front of her vehicle which read: 'The 1% are killing the climate. 'The footage showed an angry crowed chanting as the blocked her black van from passing.
