Royal expert Jennie Bond has been open with her praise of the parenting approach of the Prince and Princess of Wales. The former BBC correspondent points out that the couple aim for their younger children to have as normal lives as possible while at the same time navigating the challenges of establishing their own royal identities away from their elder sibling, George's influence.Bond notes that one of the positive outcomes of the softer parenting style the couple espouse - shaped largely by Kate's impressive knowledge of early years education - is their determined efforts to ensure the normalcy of life for their younger children so they don't feel obligated into a life of duty as royals.Jennie stated: "William and Kate must be acutely aware of the problems for a royal spare.
They have already shown that they have a different and modern attitude to bringing up royal children and I'm sure they will do everything to make Charlotte and Louis feel every bit as special, loved and valued as George.
I imagine they will encourage Louis to explore life outside the royal fold... it could be the military, but it could also be working in the charity world or whatever he finds appealing after his education is finished.
