Jurassic Lanark ends as roaring success despite drop in attendance

After seven weeks of roaming the streets, Jurassic Lanark has come to an end, with organisers hailing the event as a roaring success despite a drop in attendance.Thousands of visitors and locals trailed through the town centre and Castlebank Park to see the 20 huge dinosaur sculptures from June 23 to August 13, alongside enjoying the High Street’s new “dinosaur graveyard” feature which included a 12-metre T-Rex skeleton.Four animated sculptures that move and roar could be found along the dinosaur trail, in addition to the brand-new skeleton installations.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
