Spanish police are beginning their re-search of a 'challenging' landscape in Tenerife in a bid to find missing British teenager Jay Slater - but say there have been 'no developments'.
Officers from the Civil Guard, the police force leading the search, were seen using binoculars looking over the dangerous landscape close to the small village of Masca and the remote area where the 19-year-old's phone last 'pinged' - around half a mile north of the AirBnB he stayed at on Sunday night before leaving on foot.
The Civil Guard told the Manchester Evening News at the scene this morning that there have still been 'no developments' as they remained stationed at the Parque Rural de Teno.
The widespread search through difficult terrain seemed to have been scaled back on Friday (June 21). Follow our live blog HERE for the latest updates on the search for Jay On Thursday, police dogs were deployed along with helicopters, scaling the mountains and searching through mass undergrowth.
