ITV Big Brother’s Trish issues an apology after she’s pulled from show as racist posts emerge

ITV Big Brother’s Trish has issued an apology after racist and homophobic tweets resurfaced following her eviction. Sharing a statement on her X account, the 33-year-old apologised to “marginalised groups” for the now-deleted tweets.

It’s now been confirmed by ITV that Trish will not be appearing on the live spin-off show Big Brother: Late & Live, despite expectations for her to do so after being evicted on Friday night, the Mirror reports.

The tweets have since been deleted. After they were discovered, Trish shared a statement which read: "I'm aware that some very concerning old tweets of mine have resurfaced, and I would like to sincerely apologise for the harmful stereotypes I perpetuated and the pain I have caused to the marginalised communities and groups of people mentioned. I have come a very long way since by educating myself and being educated by others on the impact and harm those views cause." She added: "It is part of the reason why I am so passionate about standing up for others and holding myself to a high standard of responsibility and accountability for my actions. "I appreciate the support you've all given me on the show and I understand you feel disappointed.
