It is the latest hotel to open its doors to guests in Manchester this week - and the Wilde aparthotel is rather fittingly being launched on St Patrick's Day.

For the new hotel, named after one of Ireland's most famous sons Oscar Wilde, has a subtle Irish design theme running throughout it.

The 11-storey aparthotel also boasts incredible views across Manchester from every single one of its rooms. That's because it is based entirely in the top half of a high-rise building it shares with Motel One just off St Peter's Square on Dickinson Street.

The new venue boasts playful nods to Irish playwright, poet and novelist Wilde in every room, with some of his famous books and sayings to be found dotted around the one-bed and studio apartments.
