However, since the grand final, the 25 year old has been enjoying some well-deserved down time with his girlfriend, as they both jetted off to Dubai for some winter sun just before Christmas.
Since the pair landed in the UAE, Nikita has been sharing plenty of wholesome holiday snaps to his Instagram, including a slew of romantic shots of the loved-up pair spending some quality time together.
Nikita's most recent photo dump was captioned: "Last couple of days in Dubai," and the first snap showed the Strictly star living his best life soaking up the sun in the ocean.
