IKEA increased prices on products across all stores - with some items up by nearly 50%. The furniture giant has confirmed that they have increased their prices across various popular items within all of 26 stores in the UK, including in Scotland.

IKEA said that the reason for the latest increased prices have been due to the rise in supply chain costs as a result of the pandemic, reports the Manchester Evening News.

They have confirmed that they have increased their prices by 10%, which is more than the global average of 9%.Analysis from the Daily Mail found that the price of some popular household products have seen a major increase by as much as 50%.The price increases cover a range of products, including sofas, beds, drawers, wardrobes
