Town hall officials say the move is part of a push to get as many people vaccinated as possible. The buses - provided by Stagecoach - will take people from neighbouring areas to the vaccination centre at Belle Vue Sports Village.

Provision has been expanded across the city, with the support of the army, to make it as simple as possible to get vaccinated.
