A Team GB Olympic star has spoken of her heartbreak following the death of her brother in an industrial accident. Connor Borthwick, from Wigan, died after becoming trapped in machinery at a business in Blackburn last Thursday afternoon (November 25).
The 22-year-old was the younger brother of high jumper Emily Borthwick, who represented Team GB at the Tokyo Olympics earlier this year.
Paying tribute to her sibling in an Instagram post, the 24-year-old athlete said: "We are completely heartbroken. You are and always will be our shining light. READ MORE: Road closed off both ways due to building fire "I will continue to make you proud.
