A man claims he has become known as the 'Duke of Benidorm' after ditching the UK with no money and starting a new life in Spain.

Louis Thomas Grier had nothing in his bank when he moved to Benidorm in January. The 30-year-old had previously been running B&B and a horse and donkey rescue in France, but was forced to close them both due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But since moving, he uses social media to show tourists what it's really like living in the resort away from its boozy reputation, and says people have started calling him the Duke of Benidorm and the 'Benidorm fanatic'.
