Steven Barton has been providing food and essentials for Tameside’s homeless community and people going through a hard time for over six years.
In 2020, the 50-year-old even took his project to the next level, and opened a community foodbank in a shipping container in a Stalybridge car park.
As part of his campaign to combat poverty, Steven has hosted a local Easter egg collection for the past four years, where donated chocolate will be passed on to struggling families, schools and hospitals.
