Hugh Jackman has spoke out about his divorce from wife of 27 years Deborra-Lee Furness, admitting he is having a "difficult time".

The Wolverine actor, 54, was seen out running errands alone in New York City on Saturday 16 September without his wedding ring, following the announcement that he and Deborra-Lee, 67, had decided to part ways.

When questioned about his divorce, Hugh, who shares children Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18, with Deborra-Lee, simply said: "Appreciate your thoughts man, thank you.

It's a difficult time," according to TMZ. Hugh and Deborra-Lee shared an emotional joint statement on Friday announcing their shock split. "We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.
