Liam Payne

Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.

He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.

Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction

We have a really shocking update in the story of Liam Payne‘s death… As we previously reported, the former One Direction member passed away on Wednesday after falling from the balcony of his room on the 3rd floor (what we’d call the 4th floor in the US) of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

On Thursday, the Buenos Aires Security Ministry confirmed in a statement to the AP that Liam didn’t fall — instead, he “jumped from the balcony of his room.” The preliminary autopsy report listed “internal and external” hemorrhages that caused his death.

This sounds like a horribly painful way to go… but there may be some comforting news. He may not have felt any of it. Photos: Stars We Lost In 2024 Later on Thursday, the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office in Argentina released a statement obtained by Page Six saying Liam was likely in a “state of semi or unconsciousness” when he hit the ground.

How would they know? Local officials explained: Even in cases of intentional jumps, those reflexes kick in. But they’re saying that didn’t happen.
