Universal Credit is a payment intended to help people out of work or on a low income with living costs. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, there has been unprecedented levels of claims for benefits.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has received more than 3.2 million individual claims for Universal Credit since lockdown began in March.
But as lockdown measures across Scotland continue to ease and the wheels of the economy slowly start to turn again, many people are trying to find out how to cancel Universal Credit.
This is because many are now returning to work full-time or have found employment elsewhere and no longer need state support.
