More Scots are now eligible to book their Covid booster jab amid concerns over the Omicron variant in Scotland. The Scottish Government yesterday announced that 30 to 39-year-olds will be able to book their third vaccine through the NHS Scotland website.
Officials will then expand the rollout further, with the booking facility expected to be available for all Scots aged 18 and over later in the week.
The change to the rollout of the booster vaccine comes just days after Nicola Sturgeon warned of a ‘tsunami of Covid cases’ due to the Omicron variant.
