‘House of the Dragon’ Finale Trailer Teases an Epic Showdown and Tons of Dragons (Video)
thewrap.com“House of the Dragon” season finale airs next week, and the trailer for Episode 10 promises the most epic showdown for the series yet.The penultimate episode of the season saw Queen Alicent (Olivia Cooke) maneuvering in the wake of King Viserys’ death to position her son, Aegon, as the rightful heir to the throne after misunderstanding Viserys’ dying words.
Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy) was wholly absent from the episode, but we see in the Episode 10 trailer that she’ll very quickly learn that her claim is being usurped.“The Greens are coming for you Rhaenyra.
And for your children,” Rhaenys (Eve Best) is seen telling Rhaenyra (so many R names!). We see as Rhaenyra and Daemon (Matt Smith) prepare their next move at Dragonstone, and Rhaenyra’s first-born sons volunteer to make the trek to King’s Landing to strike.It very much sounds like an assault on The Red Keep is in play, which would be the smart move.
The Red Keep is of course the castle that houses Alicent and Aegon and their whole family, but also their dragons, and if Rhaenyra could take away Alicent’s kids’ dragons, she’d have an upper hand.
