Thursday is set to bring a mixed bag of weather for Greater Manchester as we head for the weekend. While the region will see plenty of sun and warm temperatures throughout the morning, peaking at 17C before lunchtime, it will quickly be replaced by darker skies and light spots of rain in the early afternoon.

Fortunately, the rain will likely not last for more than a couple of hours, with overcast clouds prevalent in the sky all the way up until the evening.

Clouding over again through the afternoon with further patchy light rain possible later. Maximum temperature 17 °C." For tonight, it will be: "Cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle this evening but becoming drier overnight with occasional clear spells developing.
