We’re used to seeing Hugh Wallace judge Home of the Year on a weekly basis judging people’s houses in his unique style. He’s known for his no-nonsense attitude and dapper suits, so when he revealed he used to dance on tables we were taken aback.

He revealed that in his 20s, he visited New York and decided to pop by the iconic Studio 54. Something we thought we’d never hear from Hugh, he confessed that he had his ‘first shift’ Stateside when he was 23!

During an appearance on The Six O’Clock Show , he spoke of his wild nights in his youth. ‘I had a shift… My first shift, I was 23,’ he told hosts Ray Foley and Úna Healy.
