Here’s what Biffy Clyro played at their first live show since 2022

Biffy Clyro returned to the stage last week, playing a live show together for the first time in two years.The Scottish rockers – comprised of Simon Neil and twins Ben and James Johnston – took over the TK Maxx Presents Live at The Piece Hall in Halifax on Friday (August 23) and performed a whopping 22-track set.

Witch Fever served as opening support for the band on the night.Biffy kicked off with ‘The Captain’ followed by ‘That Golden Rule’, ‘Who’s Got a Match?’ and ‘Re-Arrange’.

They then jumped into their 2009 song ‘Born On A Horse’ which marked the first time the band played that track live since 2019.Elsewhere in their set, they took on ‘9/15ths’, ‘Animal Style’, ‘Black Chandelier’, ‘Instant History’ and ‘End Of’.

They also performed ‘Saturday Superhouse’ for the first time since 2018.To close out the night, the rockers performed a four-song encore comprised of ‘Machines’, ‘Wolves Of Winter’, ‘Bubbles’ and ‘Many Of Horror’.The band’s last full-length release was 2021’s ‘The Myth of the Happily Ever After‘ and in a four-star review of the album, NME shared: “What could have been a hodgepodge of would-be B-sides and ideas found down the back of the sofa has turned out rather differently.
