Girls Aloud are kicking off their UK and Ireland tour on Friday, 17 May, but it will be bittersweet as Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts will perform without their late bandmate, Sarah Harding.
Sarah sadly passed away from breast cancer in September 2021, aged 39, after valiantly battling the disease. As Girls Aloud reunite in Sarah's honour, tickets are still available through reputable resale sites such as Viagogo here, and Vivid Seats here.
Sarah's mother heartbreakingly announced her daughter's passing on Instagram, sharing: "It's with deep heartbreak that today I'm sharing the news that my beautiful daughter Sarah has sadly passed away." She continued to detail Sarah's courageous fight against the disease: "Many of you will know of Sarah's battle with cancer and that she fought so strongly from her diagnosis until her last day." Sarah bravely disclosed her diagnosis in August 2020, admitting she initially dismissed her symptoms as she was in "denial".
