Giovanni Pernice breaks silence ahead of live Strictly launch with seven-word statement

He's currently showcasing his moves on Italy's version of Strictly, Ballando con le Stelle, alongside Bianca Guaccero. Ballando con le Stelle is an Italian dance competition where professional dancers are paired with a celebrity in a bid to impress judges and win the show - an incredibly similar format to Strictly which Giovanni waved goodbye to just months ago.
In a video which he posted today, he chats about their recent routine. Giovanni wrote: "This is us talking about the judges...
what they can expect from us and what Bianca feels about it. Very excited and will take everything on board to make the next dance better." Giovanni departed Strictly after his 2023 celebrity partner Amanda Abbington voiced her grievances regarding Giovanni and a BBC probe into his behaviour during the show began.
