Fans are eagerly awaiting the return of her character Nessa as well as Smithy, played by James Corden, after both stars were seen on Barry Island near Cardiff.The excitement reached fever pitch when James shared a photo of Smithy's van earlier this week, teasing the upcoming reunion episode.
Now, more behind-the-scenes photos have emerged, featuring Ruth in full Nessa attire, even driving a rickshaw! Dressed in her iconic black leather gilet and mini skirt, complete with her Welsh dragon tattoo, the Cardiff-born actress looked right at home.
James also seemed to be enjoying himself as he strolled along the Victorian promenade on the island, just outside the Welsh capital, sporting a lilac anorak, and Joanna Page, who plays Stacey, was also on set.
Fans have been counting down the days since the show's return was confirmed earlier this summer.There haven't been any new episodes of the popular BBC sitcom since the last special aired in 2019, but the comeback was finally announced in May, reports the Mirror.
