TV show in Scotland last year, with more than 1.2million people tuning in to the drama.A total of 1,201,000 viewers watched the final episode of the fifth series on BBC1 in May.The figures meant the hit police corruption show, starring Scot Martin Compston, took comedy Still Game’s title as the most popular programme in the country.It beat off the Gavin and Stacey Christmas Day special – the second most watched programme in Scotland with 1,111,000 people tuning in. The final of Strictly Come Dancing took third spot with 1,042,000 viewers while the first episode of the final series of Still Game was fourth with 1,033,000.Football sketch show Only An Excuse was fifth with 991,000 viewers.
