Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon on Friday appeared to say that people yelling at him were too uneducated to not interrupt him while he was speaking in front of a Pomona courthouse, according to a report. Seattle police made 21 arrests Friday while clearing out a homeless encampment inside a park after a federal judge declined to block authorities from doing so.  The Seattle Police Department said the offenses at Cal Anderson Park included misdemeanor trespassing, failure to disperse and obstructing an arrest. Crews dismantled tents, barricades and other barriers erected during a months-long occupation of the park.  The city tried to clear the area Wednesday, but postponed the action after protesters arrived and one person who lived at the park, Ada Yeager, filed a federal lawsuit to halt the sweep.

New details have emerged in the brutal 2011 Christmas day attack that shook the Grapevine, Texas, community after a father dressed as Santa gunned down his entire family over reported financial struggles and a drift from his wife and children. Police believe 56-year-old Aziz Yazdanpanah was dressed up as Santa Claus when he fatally shot his wife, their two teenage children and three other family members inside an apartment in the Dallas-Fort Worth suburb of Grapevine at a Christmas party nearly 10 years ago.  A friend of the family told Fox Nation host Nancy Grace this week that Yazdanpanah's house had entered into foreclosure prior to the incident, which came shortly after he separated from his wife.

A Good Samaritan helped dig a New York City police cruiser out from underneath several feet of snow Thursday after a powerful winter storm swept across the Northeast overnight.  Officer Andrew Dillon of the Citywide Traffic Task Force could not get his police vehicle to start and decided to dig it out so it could be towed from its location on 29th Street and Broadway, Sgt. Jessica McRorie, a spokesperson for the NYPD told Fox News.  Dillon was lent a helping hand by a good samaritan, who picked up a shovel and started digging the vehicle out of the snow.

The South Bend Police Department is helping spread holiday cheer for hundreds of families in need in Indiana.   Its officers volunteered to hand out boxes of food and toys to locals at the Salvation Army Kroc Center this week as part of an annual event each year ahead of Christmas. An estimated 1,600 people stopped by, the department’s media liaison, Christine Karsten, told Fox News.  "The South Bend Police Department jumped at the chance to help connect with our community by spending the last two days handing out these boxes," she said.  "Our department really works hard to engage and serve our community all year long, especially during the holidays," Karsten added.

Staff Sgt. Nicole Pompei didn’t intend to start her own business this year, but after she turned her old Air Force uniform into a wreath, people immediately started asking her to make more. “It just kind of blew up,” Pompei, told Fox News.  It all started in July when Pompei, a former Marine and current airman from San Antonio, Texas, had to switch her uniforms from airman battle uniforms, or ABUs, to the occupational camouflage pattern, or OCP.  After the switch, Pompei wanted to do something special with her ABUs and someone in a veterans’ Facebook group recommended making a wreath.  Pompei was visiting with her mom at the time, so they worked together to find a design that worked.
