Former SPL chief Roger Mitchell insists there will be no miracle for Scottish football as he called for an end to the current season.SPFL bosses have yet to decide whether season 2019/20 will be called early as football remains in shutdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.Mitchell believes pain is inescapable but that the powers-that-be must decide whether to take the hit this season or next.
And he maintains the best option is to declare Celtic champions and explore the prospect of an expanded Premiership. The Hoops are currently 13 points clear of Rangers at the summit, with Hearts six adrift of safety.
