Firefighters tackle blaze after bus 'explodes' on Wishaw road

Firefighters have raced to tackle a blaze on a bus after it reportedly "exploded" in Wishaw, Lanarkshire.Two fire crews were deployed to the vehicle on Netherton Road after it burst into flames at around 8.15pm on Monday evening.Ryan Emonds posted a video of firefighters at the scene on the street.The clip shows the vehicle burning next to a set of traffic lights while firefighters tackle the blaze.Ryan wrote on Facebook: “Just heard an almighty bang and looked out our back window to all sorts of smoke so drove round to see.“Bus had exploded at the temporary lights at Netherton - hope no one was on it.”Scottish Fire and Rescue later said they have since left the scene.An eyewitness told the Daily Record that the burnt-out vehicle is now
