Amazon‘s upcoming Lord of the Rings series is huge. As previously reported, the show is set to make history for the most expensive season of television ever, with its estimated $465 million budget.

Now, Amazon Studios chief Jennifer Salke is opening up in a roundtable for The Hollywood Reporter about the cost. Find out what she said… During the conversation, the exec said the company is “pretty confident” the show will bring in the required viewership to make the cost worth it. “The market is crazy, as you saw with the Knives Out deal.
