ok.co.ukFern Britton has denied that her decision to join Celebrity Big Brother is a ploy to reveal secrets about Phillip Schofield, but offered an insight into their so-called falling out.The TV star, who co-hosted This Morning with Phillip before stepping back from the ITV show in 2009, insists she's joined the reality show "because I could do with an adventure", and not to "spill the beans" on her former colleague.
Phillip, 61, left This Morning last year after over 20 years at the helm alongside Holly Willoughby, following an admission of an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger colleague, and subsequently stepped down from ITV altogether.
Speaking before she entered the CBB house on Monday, 4 March, Fern said: "Apparently I've signed up to spill the beans," but she quickly added, "Well, right now, I can tell you that I think let's approach with caution and kindness.
It's fair to say that towards the end we were not getting on." The 66 year old admitted that "things were tricky" before she left the popular morning show after a decade as of the main presenters. "I haven't been on that show for 15 years," she told The Mirror. "I don't know anything that's been going on since then.
