The family of a man who died after he was electrocuted by a pylon in south Manchester have today paid tribute to him, calling him a 'kind' man who they 'adored'.

He can now be named as 29-year-old Hristo Angelov. The Bulgarian man, who had been living on Bordon Road, in Cheadle Heath, with his cousin for the past five years, was reported missing on March 17 after his cousin had noticed he had not seen him at their shared home since the Tuesday.

The emergency services had rushed to Princess Road, beside the M60 slip road, the night before, following reports that a man had been electrocuted.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm on March 16, as police and fire crews were called out to the busy road following reports a male had been electrocuted at the top of a pylon.
