Dominic Robson admitted causing the death of his older brother Jordan Bell, 27, after they had been out drinking together in Sunderland on July 10 last year.

Robson, 26, a forklift driver who had trained as an amateur boxer for around seven years, became annoyed when Mr Bell apparently made sexual comments about his brother’s girlfriend.

Newcastle Crown Court heard how their argument started in a pub before continuing in the street outside. Robson knocked his brother to the ground with a single punch, causing him to suffer catastrophic brain injuries
