Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack has accused the Dons' snipers of moving the goalposts on his appointment of Stephen Glass. And the Pittodrie chief insisted his choice of manager was being heralded as a masterstroke at the start of the season as he threatened to cut a radio interview short just moments in.

The Dons have lost five consecutive games for the first time in over a decade and have slumped to ninth in the Scottish Premiership.

Glass' arrival in the close season came with big name signings such as former Celtic captain Scott Brown and Scotland defender Declan Gallagher.

But despite the recent criticism, which ratcheted up even further after a 2-1 defeat to previously bottom of the league Dundee, Cormack is right behind his boss.
