Caitlyn Marie Jenner (born William Bruce Jenner; October 28, 1949) is an American television personality and retired Olympic gold medal–winning decathlete.
Jenner played college football for the Graceland Yellowjackets before incurring a knee injury that required surgery. Convinced by Olympic decathlete Jack Parker's coach, L. D. Weldon, to try the decathlon, Jenner won the men's decathlon event at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, setting a third successive world record and gaining fame as "an all-American hero".
Given the unofficial title of "world's greatest athlete", Jenner established a career in television, film, writing, auto racing, business, and as a Playgirl cover model.

CAITLYN Jenner took a swipe at the Kardashians today when quizzed on daughter Kylie giving birth. Kylie Jenner welcomed her second child into the world with partner Travis Scott on Sunday.
The little boy is Caitlyn's 19th grandchild, and GMB hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid couldn't resist asking if she'd met the newest member of her family.
Caitlyn, 72, said: "Oh, we're going there! Yes I have. "Yeah, the family is growing! Actually, Kylie had her little boy and it was announced the other day." The ex Keeping Up With The Kardashians star then went on to infer she wasn't allowed to speak about her daughter or the Kardashians.
She added: "I had to be very careful - I've got to be very quiet, I've got to be sensitive, careful when I talk about the family. "But they're doing great, Kylie's doing great. "Everybody's doing great.
