Scots dad who was tragically killed in a hit and run collision have appealed for the driver to come forward. George Robertson was knocked down and killed as he walked along the B792 between Bathgate and Torphichen in West Lothian on Sunday night.

The 53-year-old was rushed to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary after being discovered but was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

A police manhunt has been launched to find the driver of the dark-coloured vehicle which struck George between 10.15pm and 11pm.
