Emmerdale star Lawrence Robb has shared a bit of a rhetorical question in front of viewers as he responded to emotional scenes in which Belle Dingle admitted for the first time that she has suffered mental and physical abuse by her husband Tom King.
Fans of the ITV soap have been pleading for Belle, played by Eden Taylor-Draper, to speak out about what her evil partner has been doing to her behind closed doors - from following her every move to burning and hitting her and using her mental health struggles as a weapon.
During Thursday night's Emmerdale (September 5), viewers saw a special episode, titled Through the Looking Glass, in which Belle considered three different scenarios as to how life could play out. His words trigger a dream-like day for Belle, as she envisions potential outcomes of her future life while trying to escape Tom.
