Emmerdale fans stunned as villain is finally charged with murder
thesun.co.ukEMMERDALE fans are in shock after Cain Dingle was charged with murdering Al Chapman. The village thug - who is played by actor Jeff Hordley in the ITV soap - lured businessman Al to a remote bar after posing as his lover Chas Dingle.
Once there, Cain threatened him with a shotgun, before attacking Al in a brutal fight. As the two men struggled the gun went off and Al was left dead.
Cain tried to clean his prints from the gun but was interrupted by Al’s girlfriend Kerry Wyatt who was horrified by what she saw.
She screamed for her daughter Chloe to call for an ambulance and the police, and Cain fled home.
