A Scots woman has shed three stone after being terrified she'd get cancer like her overweight mum.Wendy Annand, who lives in Edinburgh, was looking for a change after lockdown and found success through online classes that have transformed her life.

I have to take it seriously.“I have had a few friends who don’t worry about their weight but I don’t want to go down that route.“Cancer caught up with mum so I thought, no, I’m going to do my best to live a healthier life and not let that get to me if possible.
