Ed Sheeran

Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (pronounced "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified eight-times platinum in the UK.

The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John.

Ed Sheeran announces one night only ‘X’ 10th anniversary show in Brooklyn

Ed Sheeran has announced a one-off show in Brooklyn, celebrating 10 years since he shared ‘X’.Announced today (May 1), the upcoming show will be held at the historic Barclays Center in New York, where the singer, songwriter and guitarist will take to the stage on May 22 for an exclusive performance.The date comes in celebration of his now iconic sophomore album, ‘X’, which he shared back in 2014 and will be turning 10 years old this June.

On the night, the concert setlist will reflect Sheeran’s ‘X (Wembley Edition)’ release from 2014.To ensure that tickets are given to fans, the artist has partnered with Seated for an exclusive fan on-sale, where fans can register to be in with a chance of being selected for the opportunity to purchase tickets.

Registration opened this morning and will close tomorrow (May 2) at 11:59 ET.The general on-sale for tickets will be offered to the selective fans next Monday (May 6) at 10am ET via Ticketmaster.A post shared by Ed Sheeran (@teddysphotos)As well as the upcoming show in Brooklyn, Sheeran will also be celebrating 10 years of ‘X’ by sharing a special anniversary edition of the LP on June 21 – exactly a decade since the original arrived.The record will be available in various formats including an EcoRecord – a new, more ecologically sustainable LP format – and multiple bonus tracks.Outside the original tracklist, which includes ‘Don’t’, ‘Sing’, ‘Photograph’, ‘Bloodstream’, and ‘Thinking Out Loud’, nine bonus tracks feature on the individual formats of the anniversary editions.

All of these have never been released on vinyl up until now, and include ‘I See Fire’, which featured in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and ‘All of the Stars’, taken from The Fault In Our Stars.Pre-order.
