FANS have noticed a trend emerge throughout their years watching the events of life in Albert Square. One EastEnders viewer theorised that soap bosses are slowly killing off every blonde woman walking the streets of Walford.

The theory first emerged in October, 2020, when the soap fan took to a Digital Spy forum. "Since 2015, Lucy, Peggy, Ronnie, Roxy, Abi, and Mel have all been killed off", they first pointed out. "Do the remaining blonde ladies need to watch their backs?" When another viewer replied that it's unlikely EastEnders royalty Sharon Watts will be killed off, the original poster questioned: "No, but could Lola be in trouble?" Actress Danielle Harold is set to bow out of the BBC One soap once her character breathes her last. This prompted the original poster to return to their theory, adding: "I wonder who will be next?" While they couldn't predict who would be killed off the soap, two viewers attempted to explain the phenomenon.
